Whats new in Time Matters 10 – release date and other

While we cannot officially spoil Time Matters 10 or it’s release date we have had a number of items made clear from Lexis about Time Matters 10.0.
First, if you are Lexis Nexis AMP (Annual Maintenance Plan) then you are entitled to TM 10.0 when it becomes available. If you are not on AMP you should consider it. Lexis Time Matters is probably the heart of your practice as your calendar, document management system, contact management, document automator and perhaps even tome billing and accounting. Something this critical should be in warranty in case of problems. The benefit is now that support comes with all new releases. While we understand that cost is always a concern, nearly every car engine has a warranty for a reason. Keep the core under warranty.
I digress. TM 10.0. Not to release specific new features the emphasis in Time Matters 10.0 is stability and architecture. Time Matters “Professional” file based database is no longer. Time Matters 10.0 will run on the reliable platform of SQL. Smaller customers can use SQL express 2005 or 2008 which has a 25 user and 4GB database limit that will not affect most small companies.
